Through workshops and retreats, HazuraStudio brings traditional batik into contemporary practice — creating spaces where making becomes a mindful, reflective process.
My Story

Before founding HazuraStudio, I worked in biotechnology — motivated by speed, efficiency, and contributing to patient care and society.
Art has been part of my life since childhood, beginning with watercolour and later deepening into batik.
Through batik, I encountered a different rhythm of making — slow, deliberate, lived in flow. Letting go of perfection allowed creativity, intuition, and clarity to emerge, shaping how I now hold space for others through guided creative experiences.

For artisans, educators, facilitators and organisations interested in creating something together.
HazuraStudio is shaped through collaboration. I welcome partnerships with batik artisans, educators, facilitators and organisations whose work connects with creativity, cultural respect, reflection and meaningful human connection.
Collaborations may include cultural projects, educational initiatives, retreats, research, or the co-creation of new experiences.
