Rooted in the ancient craft of batik, the studio offers guided creative experiences that invite reflection, connection, and cultural exchange.
Through workshops and retreats, HazuraStudio brings traditional batik into contemporary practice — creating spaces where making becomes a mindful, reflective process.
My Story
“Through batik, I found a slower rhythm of being — one I now share with others.”
Before founding HazuraStudio, I worked in biotechnology — motivated by speed, efficiency, and contributing to patient care and society.
Art has been part of my life since childhood, beginning with watercolour and later deepening into batik.
Through batik, I encountered a different rhythm of making — slow, deliberate, lived in flow. Letting go of perfection allowed creativity, intuition, and clarity to emerge, shaping how I now hold space for others through guided creative experiences.

I’m open to working with apprentices, batik artisans, and practitioners from related fields who resonate with this approach of slow, mindful making and cultural respect.
Based in Zurich, HazuraStudio collaborates with batik artisans and educational institutions across regions.
Workshops and retreats are offered locally and through selected international partnerships.
